Stonebeads (Streaming)

Recorded in Barcelona during a tumultuous political period, Stonebeads draws from the turmoil affecting the personal sphere and the contrasting landscape of a buzzing city surrounded by a soothing nature.

With a bright intro distinguished by an ascending synth sound, the track immediately defines itself as a gentle invocation for bliss, setting an harmonic tone that stands firmly in between tranquility and playfulness.

The conflict starts when the bass line kicks in, consistently thumping side by side the sparse but steady beats.

While the middle of the composition invokes a feeling of hesitation, the ending confirms the overall sense of elation, leaving behind a glaring echo of distant notes.

Ritmiche

Space as absence, expectation and what’s beyond the terrestrial: Ritmiche has its foundations laying on the misconceived immateriality of silence.
The common element in the rhythm pattern for each composition appears to be a hesitant sound, either in the form of a beat or light scratch, as a step back before the next sonic wave. The end result is a dance with no rehearsed choreography, yet far for improvisational.
Carefully assembled with a series of elements taken from noise recordings, the production pushes the natural notes to the realm of the ethereal, removing the boundaries between genres while stretching the gaps. The intervals become essential, the pause a fundamental part of the pace.

On The Verge

A sparse rhythmic pattern interrupted by melodic licks of vivid synths.
From small bursts of light provided by bright synths to sudden drops marked by mysterious noises, On the Verge is sheer sonic impressionism built around a non-linear rhythm, translating in music the erratic feeling of being close to a sudden twist of fate.
